Join us for the 5th Annual Healthy Kids golf outing on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the NorthStar Country Club. This event is powered by Health Action Council and our Healthy Kids Initiative.
Health Action Council created the Healthy Kids Campaign to engage students and their families, employers, schools, and communities in promoting improved health and wellness.
Our goal is to encourage childhood preventable disease vaccinations, increase annual well-child visits, keep kids active, promote healthy nutrition, and enhance health literacy.

Time: 8 AM to 2:30 PM
Format: Shotgun start/ Scramble with Best Ball and challenge contests
Location: NorthStar Golf Club, 1150 Wilson Rd, Sunbury, OH 43074
Team: 1- 4 players per school district are welcome. You may sign up as pairs, however since this is a sponsored event, only 2 players will be guaranteed on the team
Included: Breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and prizes will be provided
The top 3 teams will receive a cash prize of $500 to donate to the school district of their choice.*

Founded in 2007, NorthStar has played host to the 2013 US Amateur Qualifier and the 2015 and 2016 Ohio Public Golf Championships. It has also been the home of either the Division 2 or 3 Ohio High School Boys Golf Championship competition since 2009.

That’s fine! We will match you up with others to form a foursome.

What is the attire?
Proper golf attire is required at all times to play and/or practice at the course..
- A collared shirt or jacket is required (a mock turtleneck is an acceptable form of collared shirt). T-shirts and sleeveless shirts are prohibited.
- Khakis, cargo shorts, golf shorts, skorts, skirts, and rain pants are acceptable forms of bottoms. Denim, athletic shorts, and yoga/sweatpants will be deemed unacceptable.
- Golf shoes or tennis shoes are required - no sandals. No metal spikes on golf shoes.
